Party program of the minority party
DIE SONSTIGEN

A new march through the institutions cannot be the answer to the initial failure of the social movements. We refuse to fulfill our function as a party, but we are clearly asking the question of power!

What do we want?

We want to pose a serious threat to the military-industrial complex by putting the question of the system back on the agenda. We want our issues and concepts to reach a critical mass that will bring about far-reaching changes in times of crisis.

How do we do this?

In the process of founding this new party, we spent an entire conference on the question of how we want to talk to each other and relate to each other. There is a lot of violence hidden in language. It’s not about always being nice and friendly and subordinating feelings like anger and helplessness to a seemingly omnipresent, fake confidence and addiction to success. We are tired of splinter battles and ideological rifts. Our survival as a minority and niche existence currently depends on a broad alliance for a democratic upgrade: A grassroots democratic reboot without leadership. The groups and individuals who have joined this “union of the divisive” no longer have time to forge an identity and look for common ground!

Alliance work is very laborious. You always have to deal with people who fundamentally disagree with you. At the same time, our respectful meetings are already a model for the world we want. Our goal is contained in our horizontal organization. But the structure of a party also requires clubbiness. Without mindfulness, we become means to our means!

By participating, we have not agreed to the rules of the game! In capitalism, which has subjected all areas of life to marketization, our ideas themselves have also taken on the form of a commodity.

Who are we?

We are activists for an all-Frisian confederalism; against all forms of racism; against discrimination against all minorities; and against all group-based misanthropy.

We come from the UBI movement, the animal liberation movement, the human rights and civil rights movements, the EU and UN reform movements, the Berlin squatter scene, the feminist movements of the 2nd and 3rd waves, the queer community, the queer community, and the feminist community. Waves, the queer community, the LGBTI, disabled and psychiatry-experienced, tenant, anti-gentrification, homeless, vagabond, drug users, radical visual artists, workers, unemployed, work refusers and prisoners movements and last but not least from the species, nature and climate protection movements; we are supporters of bourgeois-liberal and moderate-conservative, liberal, social-liberal, social-democratic, democratic-socialist, grassroots-democratic, socialist or anarchist political philosophies, and at best all egalitarian political philosophies; we are spiritual or humanist. We are reformers or revolutionaries who have not lost faith despite incredible disappointments.

Which way do we want to go?

We don’t want to go to the center of power, but to dissolve the prevailing order from the margins, from the weak and marginalized, and to replace German normality with a colorful diversity. Diversity does not come from closed units of groups of people. We must view all our group affiliations as instruments of mutual exploitation and competition. We do not engage in identity politics for a particular clientele! We make cooperation – instead of competition – the driving force of progress!
